Clinical Research
Access to clinical trials is an integral component of Jupiter Hematology & Oncology Associates under the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Investigator Research Agreement with Jupiter Medical Center Cancer Program.
Our clinical trials are a tremendous benefit to our cancer patients as patients have access in their own community, rather than traveling to other major cities with leading cancer centers. Clinical trials may offer the opportunity to receive a new or potentially more effective therapy for cancer including new forms of treatment, methods of prevention and ways of screening for cancer.
Clinical trials currently available at Jupiter Hematology & Oncology Associates and Jupiter Medical Center include:
- Lung cancer trials
- Ovarian cancer trials
- Endometrial cancer trials
- Cervical cancer trials
- Breast cancer trials
- Lymphomas
- Leukemia/MDS
- Genitourinary trials, including prostate and kidney cancer.
- Gastrointestinal cancer trials, including colorectal
- Head and neck cancer trials
- Central nervous system trials
- Miscellaneous cancer control trials, prevention, etc.
Study participants receive ongoing monitoring and follow-up by the research staff throughout their participation in our office in close collaboration with the Oncology Clinical Research Office at Jupiter Medical Center.
