Florida Cancer Trials
The Florida Cancer Clinical Trial Matching Service offers patients, caregivers and health care professionals up-to-date information about cancer clinical trials in Florida and throughout the United States.
Affiliate Program Participant
The University of Florida Shands Cancer Center (UFSCC) Affiliations Program develops and nurtures working relationships among the University of Florida College of Medicine, Shands Healthcare and key community health providers. The program operates on the premise that most cancer care is delivered in the local community. The Cancer Center offers our community partners the opportunity to access consultation, education and cutting edge clinical services only found in major academic centers.
The UFSCC Affiliations Program offers multiple services to affiliates, including:
- Priority access to the Shands Transfer Center for hospital referrals and priority access to the Shands Consultation Center for outpatient referrals.
- A Speaker Series designed especially for community physicians is available to affiliate members. Through this program, UFSCC faculty members are available to travel to affiliates and speak on a wide range of topics.
- Our Center Ground Rounds online program is an innovative continuing medical education activity in which affiliate physicians, through the internet, can view and listen to actual grand rounds lectures delivered at the UFSCC.
